On Feb. 5, 2000, The Yary family identified this patch as being an
the England National Team logo.
On Feb. 17, 2000, Julie identified this patch as being an
England patch.
On Feb. 18, 2000, Wayne Williams wrote:
"From looking back at some of my British football books that I have from the
early 80's, this is the crest that the England National team would wear for
international matches. If I am correct, it does not belong to one specific
team or club other than the National team."
On Dec. 12, 2001, Damien Garnett wrote:
"The England patch is the older type, where the new type has better defined lions and
they are of a cyan colour.
This crest belongs to The F.A (The Football Association) here in England
(see The F.A. website).
Scotland's is similar but has red lions and a yellow background.
